Doing haiku like Ani DiFranco (Hands-Eyes-Stars)

into the pond
night with too many stars

Hands-Eyes-Stars is the name of a poetry chapbook that I put together using Scribd. In the olden days, to put out your own stuff was considered “vanity.” But why? Didn’t Hart Crane and William Carlos Williams put out their own stuff?

How much better has music gotten since the record companies fell apart? I’ve decided to do it like Ani DiFranco.
